NIHAL RAJ

Nihal Raj better known as Little Chef Kicha is a YouTube sensation and the youngest Indian to be invited on The Ellen Show. A 7-year-old child prodigy from Kochi, his YouTube channel, KichaTube HD has over 34,000 subscribers. Recently, Facebook acquired non-exclusive rights to his signature ‘Mickey Mouse mango ice cream’ and paid him $2,000.

Dr Vishnu Nandan

Dr Vishnu Nandan, a Post Doctoral Scholar at the University of Victoria, Canada. 'Arctic sea ice may be thinning faster than initially predicted'! Shocking huh? It gets interesting to know that this most discussed topic by world media was predicted by Dr Vishnu himself! He has been on 14 expeditions to both the Arctic and the Antarctic, each lasting for 2-3 months in the past 6 years and this needs serious preparations!

VAVA SURESH

Vava Suresh is an Indian wildlife conservationist and a snake expert. He is known for his missions for saving snakes straying into human inhabited areas in Kerala, India. He captured more than 152 king cobras, he is believed to have captured and rescued more than 50,000 straying snakes.

Dr Santhosh Kumar Nanda

Assistant General Manager (Analytics Center of Excellence-R & D) (Lead Data Scientist) at Flytxt. He completed his PhD on the domain of Artificial Intelligence from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. Dr Santhosh is a veteran with 12 years of experience on Algorithm development into Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence.

Arjoonn Sharma

Arjoonn is a Research Engineer at Clap Research, winner at Huddle Kerala (All India startup pitch) and a Kaggle Kernels expert with a global rank of 37/55,000. He has conducted various talks and workshops including a workshop on Machine Learning at NIT-Calicut.

Elizabeth Sherly

Former Director and Professor at Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management-Kerala (IIITM-K), Technopark, Trivandrum. Her areas of Interest lie in Machine Intelligence, Data Science, Object Oriented Design Patterns and Computational Linguistics. She has produced 2 PhD's and submitted 2 Theses.

Charush S

Mr Charush is the Chief Technology Officer of Accubits Technologies Inc and an alumnus of SCTCE. He is a technology enthusiast and a passionate engineer with particular interests in Machine Learning and Blockchain.

DHYUTHI 1.0

  • Dhyuthi is the annual flagship event of IEEE SCT SB, that kicked off with its first edition in 2017. With participants from colleges all over Kerala, Dhyuthi offers a plethora of technical workshops, engaging talks, captivating music and also, a jovial trip to some of the well-known hang outs in Trivandrum.

  • The prime focus is to provide an arena where students from different colleges get to interact and expand their social circle along with getting involved in various technical communities. Dhyuthi gained much popularity among students shortly after its launch, and has now emerged to become one of the most anticipated events of the SB.

IEEE SCTSB

  • The IEEE student branch started off in SCTCE in 2009 with a few dozen members. After almost a decade, IEEE SCT SB is currently one of the most dynamic student branches with 4 societies and more than 100+ active members.

  • The SB caters to enhancing the technical and managerial skills of its students, and also aims to act as a platform where they could learn the benefits of teamwork, coordination and synergy. Along with a team of dedicated volunteers, the SB organizes workshops, talks, seminars, outreach programs and keeps its members updated about the latest advancements in technology.

SCTCE

  • Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering (SCTCE), Trivandrum was established by the Govt. of Kerala in the year 1995 in memoriam of the Great Maharaja of Travancore and is affiliated to the University of Kerala with AICTE approval.

  • Exposing the young minds to the world of technology, the institution instills in them plenty of confidence and fortitude to face new challenges and triumph in their chosen areas. A systematic and scientifically planned methodology, together with a team of experienced and dynamic faculty distinguish the SCTCE learning experience.
